I know I haven’t updated for a while, but there are distractions that sometimes happen in life. Between college and games I haven’t been taking as much time to write here. However, that doesn’t mean I haven’t been writing.
If you’ve ever played the game Baldur’s Gate, you may be interested in an epic saga that I’m writing. No, really.
If you haven’t played the game it might not make much sense, and if you’re ever going to play the game it has spoilers to plot events. I just thought I’d mention it here if there was any wild chance that someone might be interested.
Alliteration is lovely but it loses its luster
When one weathers it weekly for penning a project
The daring deed drags to a drumroll’s descent
And weighs the head heavy with hesitant synonyms
To please the ponderous pace of primeval prose
With no rhyme to reach across rows of writing
But to blunder on blindly to build a blithe ballad
Takes time, and tests the temper in toils not timid
Till the quill quells its quarrels and the quest be done
And an epic achieves all the altitude allotted;
This is the vision verily, vaunted verisimilitude
The tale will not be told
Without a willing hand
So be the one so bold
To take a stalwart stand.
